Realistic paintings don’t usually work for me, but somehow the way White captures this scene of Pierre Le Fou’s movies makes me really think. There are different ways to view this painting. The way I saw it was that the woman in the painting was in a unhappy relationship not wanting to lose her lover trying to look for someone who knows this is not a healthy love life. White paints different scenes of famous pop culture movies and gives them a dark twist.
